Dog registration
NPDC's own Dog registrations page states: 'The annual Registration invoice is sent out to dog owners in early June and is due for payment by 30 June. A late penalty will be added to any unpaid fees on 1 August and again on 1 December.' Its 'Penalty for late registrations' accordion (worded for the 2025/26 year, see notes) reads: 'Penalty of 25% applicable after 1 August 2025 until 30 November 2025. Penalty of 50% applicable after 1 December 2025 until 30 June 2026. Failure to register your dog may result in an infringement fine of $300 and/or seizure of the dog.'
