The Animal Control Fees page's own 2026/27 table instead prices registration on a discounted/standard two-tier basis: every dog-registration fee category is split into 'Discounted fee if paid before 1 August' and 'Standard fee if paid after 1 August' -- e.g. General registration $134.00 (before 1 Aug) / $198.00 (after 1 Aug). The same page separately states: 'Note: Infringements will be issued for all outstanding registrations after: 31 Aug 26' -- a third, later date for formal infringement action, distinct from the fee-tier cutoff.”, Manawatū District Council's own wording.
